Unsuspecting areas in Downtown Grand Forks will come to life with live music, food vendors, artists, a photo booth, yard games, face painting, and so much more. This is an all age’s event focused on celebrating our local resources and showcasing all that Downtown Grand Forks has to offer. Utilizing an alleyway presents an excellent opportunity to rethink the urban fabric of the downtown area and bring life to often overlooked spaces.

Art & Wine Walk

Join us as we finish our 12th season of Art & Wine Walk!

The walk starts at 1PM, at either the Blue Moose Bar & Grill in East Grand Forks or Rhombus Guys Brewing Co. in Grand Forks. After the walk is finished at 5PM, stick around for a GRAND finale at the Empire (it’s back!), for a champagne toast and door prize drawings!

The walk is 20$ per person, or $15 with a military or student ID. Art & Wine Walk is a 21+ event, and attendees will be given a 1 ounce sample at each location. Have your map stamped at each location and bring it to the Empire finale for a chance to win a door prize! Attendees of the Empire finale will also be given a stemless Art & Wine Walk glass to commemorate the walk.

On Sale through the Empire Arts Center starting October 10th.

A portion of every ticket price will go towards buying holiday gifts, holiday meals, and New Years Eve decor for the Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC), their clients, and for the families living in their shelter. A free will donation box will be available at the show if you'd like to contribute more to this fundraising effort.

Inspired largely by Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, and Barbra Streisand, Bean's powerhouse vocals are visceral and heartfelt. She weaves effortlessly through haunting originals, new workings of contemporary hits and beloved classics.

A veteran of the Broadway stage, Bean made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Hairspray and starred as the very first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked. Most recently, she appeared as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl and as Cee-Cee Bloom in the new musical adaptation of Beaches, for which she earned a Jeff Award Nomination for best lead actress in a musical.

Wild Hog Marathon

The 6th Annual Wild Hog Marathon weekend features great exercise and fun for the whole family.  Happenings include a Family Fun Night, Family Fun Run and 5K on Friday, September 28 and a Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K on Saturday, September 29.  After Saturday's races, there will also be a big celebration at Wild Hog Grill & Bar featuring live entertainment.

Rockin' the Forks

Potato Bowl USA is proud to announce that 32 Below will perform a live concert as part of Potato Bowl USA and UND Homecoming Week this fall and the best part is...it's FREE and open to the public! 32 Below has shared the stage with many big names like Keith Urban, The Band Perry, Little Big Town, Montgomery Gentry, Charlie Daniels, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band just to name a few. They've performed at an NFL halftime show at Soldier Field in Chicago. The group’s six albums have sold more than 25,000 copies and have been streamed hundreds of thousands of times.

Rollin' on the River

Friday, August 24, 2018, is going to be a night to remember!

Rollin’ on the River will be holding Family Night along the shores of the Red River in East Grand Forks. Skaters, families and friends can get in on the action starting at 5:00 pm when Race Packet Pickup begins.

Below is a full line-up of the festivities:

  • 5:00-8:30pm: Rollin’ on the River Race Packet Pickup and Registration (this is the LAST opportunity to register)
  • 6:00-8:00pm: Free Skate and Helmet Rentals provided by Safe Kids Grand Forks
  • 7:30-8:30pm: Free Kids Sprint Races
