Fashion Affair

We are excited for Fashion Affair 2018! You told us what you wanted...and now you will have it:

We are transforming Sky's Fine Dining and Cloud 9 Lounge, as well as the lower level of the Edgewood Building. Both levels will have a lounge, food and bar service by Sky's 5-star service team.

The "Red Carpet" Fashion Show will walk the entire space, upper and lower level. Every seat is a great seat on the Red Carpet!

Rollin' on the River

Friday, August 24, 2018, is going to be a night to remember!

Rollin’ on the River will be holding Family Night along the shores of the Red River in East Grand Forks. Skaters, families and friends can get in on the action starting at 5:00 pm when Race Packet Pickup begins.

Below is a full line-up of the festivities:

  • 5:00-8:30pm: Rollin’ on the River Race Packet Pickup and Registration (this is the LAST opportunity to register)
  • 6:00-8:00pm: Free Skate and Helmet Rentals provided by Safe Kids Grand Forks
  • 7:30-8:30pm: Free Kids Sprint Races

  • HELMETS REQUIRED FOR ALL SKATERS!
  • 6:00 am:
    • Packet pick up NOTE: This is not registration – it is packet pick-up for pre-registered skaters.  There is no day-of race registration. Your last chance to register is Friday, August 15, from 5-8:30 pm at Family Night
    • Busses begin departing for Full Marathon Starting Line at Central Valley High School
  • 6:20 am: Last bus departs for Full Marathon Starting Line at Central Valley High School
  • 6:30 am: Important race announcements begin
  • 6:45 am: Call to staging/line up for race
  • 6:50 am: Final race announcements
  • 6:55 am: Star Spangled Banner
  • 7:00 am: All races start
    • Upon finishing, skaters should re-enter warm up area for food and to receive their participation medal
  • 8:45 am: Bailout Bus leaves Choice Health and Fitness – all skaters asked to board must leave the course
  • 10:00 am: Race course re-opened to traffic
  • 11:00 am: Awards Ceremony

Rockin' the Forks

Potato Bowl USA is proud to announce that 32 Below will perform a live concert as part of Potato Bowl USA and UND Homecoming Week this fall and the best part is...it's FREE and open to the public! 32 Below has shared the stage with many big names like Keith Urban, The Band Perry, Little Big Town, Montgomery Gentry, Charlie Daniels, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band just to name a few. They've performed at an NFL halftime show at Soldier Field in Chicago. The group’s six albums have sold more than 25,000 copies and have been streamed hundreds of thousands of times.

Wild Hog Marathon

The 6th Annual Wild Hog Marathon weekend features great exercise and fun for the whole family.  Happenings include a Family Fun Night, Family Fun Run and 5K on Friday, September 28 and a Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K on Saturday, September 29.  After Saturday's races, there will also be a big celebration at Wild Hog Grill & Bar featuring live entertainment.

Hugo's Third Street Dance featuring: The Purple Xperience

Join all your friends Downtown on Saturday, August 11, for a STREET DANCE featuring The Purple Xperience on First Ave!

The Purple Xperience is a five-piece tribute band hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They have been touring around the country since 2011, bringing the memories of Prince and The Revolution to audiences of all generations. The Purple Xperience embodies the spirit and sounds of Prince, with front-man Marshall Charloff channeling the vocals and moves from the icon himself. The Purple Xperience leaves no one disappointed.

Third Street between DeMers & 2nd Avenues will be shut down, with a stage set up right on the corner of 1st Avenue & 3rd Street! 

Gates open at 5 PM (must enter through Main Gate on 1st Ave to pay gate entry and get your 21+ wristband, if you'd like to partake in adult beverages).

Food and drink as faith practices will be the conversation with multi-faith representatives there to offer a variety of perspectives. Faith leaders will move from table to table to create a number of different conversations.
